  • Another new hobby

In addition to a few small bike projects, I have taken a bent toward a new hobby:

This was my first ever jump, and I am hooked on this rush!!! Terminal velocity in freefall is near the speeds of a couple of my bikes, but STRAIGHT AT THE GROUND! Then when the chute opens, it is very, very peaceful and almost relaxing. I am working on getting started on my AFF now... and saving for a parachute!

Did you yell GERONIMO when you went out of the door?

Remember to learn well the art of packing a chute. In the Navy, the guys packing my chute were the same ones going out drinking with me. In my case it didn't matter, because we couldn't bail out of our planes any way.

did this 3 years a go but i had to have a person attached to me (or i was attached to him) it was a rush but i would like to know how u can do it by your self. i always liked the winged suits. watch them all the time on youtube. it would be crazy to travel like that. question when u pulled that cord did your back pop? mine did and boy it fell amazing. but after he pulled our cord it was beautiful getting to look at the earth at that perspective.

              Hey Ford!

              Yeah, it looks like fun....
as long as YOU'RE doin' it...

There's now proof... you DO have a few screws loose!!!
Anybody that jumps out of a perfectly good flying airplane... on purpose... has got to have a few loose!

Course, I always expected that... after all... you do ride motorcycles, right?
