Lost Part

I've some how lost the throtle cable holder that fastens onto the top left side of the number 3 carb. with two scews. It goes on an 81xs11 special I'm trying to rebuild. The only one I found came with all the carbs for $100 and I've spent to much on this already. If someone has one I'd like to know what they want for it.

Sorry to hear about that.I would say your best bet would be to check local salvage yards or if you know a shop or a person who works on bikes.They might be able to find one or something that will work.Look around where you worked on your carbs,more than likely it will be hideing where you least expect it.I don`t know if the cable holder for a different Yamaha would work, worth checking into.
