  • Greetings from Afghanistan

It's been awhile since I've checked in. I am now playing in Afghanistan. I will be here till the middle of 2012. I will be looking to replace MIYAMI with another MIYAMI when I get home. Kind of just a heads up that I will be looking for another SF. I miss the old SF and kinda wish I didn't sell her. Don't know when I'll be able to get back on here as being in a war zone and all. Everyone, enjoy your riding, keep the dirty side down and remember your veterans and soldiers serving overseas.
By the way. hajies ride rinkidink bikes with the family. On one bike.

From one vet to another, thanks for serving. And watch your six over there, brother.

When I was in Iraq, I decided I was getting a bike when I got home. Didn't know exactly what I wanted, just knew I was gonna get one. Stumbled onto my SG, and have been in love with it ever since.

          Hi Czekus,
that's what you gotta do when a gallon of gas costs a weeks wages. And be careful playing with the locals, they play rough. And they hate everybody, even the guys in the next village. The further away you come from, the more they hate you and you came a long way, right?

From an old Screaming Eagle, Thank you for protecting freedom.

Like I told one of my sons when he went to Iraq, keep your wits about you, stay sharp and don't worry about anything at home and you will be OK.

We look forward to your safe return and so if I may give you one.... Geronimo Sir!

Thankx everyone for the well wishes. I've talked a few buddies into doing a Sturgis run next year. We'll see who all will actually make it. Looking forward to getting another SF when I get back to the states. Don't want a basket case, but don't want a finished job either. SWMBO's on board with the replacement MIYAMI. She's also always ready for a Sturgis run. by the time I get back, I should have about a month to obtain another SF and another 3 months to get it ready for a cross country trip.
Ride with your head high and with pride. Don't get too many bugs in yur teeth. (to much protein is bad) and keep the dirty side down. If your a veteran, have a beer for all of the ones that never, and/or will not make it home under their own power. The Sturgis run next year will be for them. I will be parading, on the back of my bike, A flag in which I will have flown here in Afghanistan.
