  • New XS1100 owner from the PNW

Recently picked up a 1980 XS1100 from my uncle that has been kept in immaculate shape a couple months ago. Finally got to take it on a nice weekend ride with a couple over night stops and totaled around 370miles. Fun ride, but my girl needed to get something for her back (pink pillow found at second hand store), but after that the ride went well. The bike came with 2 seats, one high back and the other low which is pretty cool..... So far so good!

http://www.oysterrun.org/ Has all the info you need. It was a hoot last year even though it rained. Sensory Overload Sunday would be a good name. Every kind of bike you can imagine and some you'd never think of. Weather is iffy that time of year, but it was fun even in the rain. 30 - 40 thousand bikes, 6 blocks long, 4 rows, handlebar to handlebar. Awesome. Saw 9 guys ride one bike. Seattle Cossacks.
