                80 special and 79 standard

Looks like an 80 special (80+ slotted rotors yet no alternator cover groove of the 81's) and 79 standard (solid rotors, standard tank/bars/ not macho maroon color of 78 model year)

If you post VINs then we will know for sure.

                Welcome.

I'd already gotten the 80 model year on the standard from the foot pegs, cause unless they had been changed those are 80+ foot pegs, with the wide flat pegs. Plus the 80 side covers, but the 79 aftermarket seat rather than the proper 80+ type seat. Someone must have pounded on the seat pan on that standard to make room for the TCI in there, or else moved it (or do I have that backwards?) down out of the way. But it would look better with the proper seat on it of course.

                      Hi Cy,
I have a seat like that on my 81H and had to move the TCI to get it to fit properly. It is quite comfortable. Do you have pic of what the proper seat should look like?

Welcome Beetle, I like the look of the bagger the other looks in need of parts

You were right about the seat. The original owner moved the tci box.

As of right now both the bikes look like each other I listed the bags and fairing in the forsale section
