  • Stuff to do in Milwaukee??

to our Milwaukee brethren, I am loitering about the greater Milwaukee area tonight (7/21) and all day tomorrow, I have to be at a customer site in the area on Saturday morning, and I was kind of thinking to myself "self? what kind of nonsense can I get into in Milwaukee?". but I have no answers as I do not know the area at all and have no real desire to do the too terribly touristy stuff. I have absolutely no idea what to try to get into up here. so, let the suggestions roll in! we do have Milwaukee brethren on the site, right? have a nice day and ride safe

Jazz in the park sounds like it might be a fun time, I do like a wide variety of musical styles. I will give that some serious consideration as I prepare to bugger off to get some dinner and nonsense for the evening. thanks for the info, have a nice day and ride safe

There's a cool bar called the Hideout. <--Click it. That could be the Bond-type place. You should call and get the password b/c if you don't know the password when you get there, they make you do something goofy to get in -and that front area is on closed circuit TV broadcast throughout the rest of the bar. Pretty fun place.

Take the Miller Brewery tour. It's amazing how different High Life tastes when it's fresh. It's actually kinda good. =) And down in the vaults it's nice and cool. You get a couple free drink tokens at the end too. Totally worthwhile, IMO.
