      Thank you all.

Very quiet day overall. Just Debbie and the critters.

      Stepp,
If that's the way you're coming out I may just ride back with you!

I only travel one way in the winter...

Would like to go thru the museum again and the little touristy area next door, forget the name of that area but this time by myself
We went to Portland and then back last time, great ride but I would go to LA and then I don't know.
Did a killer ride last February,Cincinnati to Chicago to LA to San Antonio,to Chicago and back to Cincy..5300 miles or so.

I will keep in touch if I book the ride
The Parlour Car on the Starlite..

Nice, the club car looks like the City of New Orleans; penny a point ain't no one keepin' score!

I've never actually ridden in a train before but that does look like fun!

That is Old Sacramento. When they were first talking about rebuilding all of that area (need to get rid of the wino's) a bottle collector friend of mine went up there and told every homeless person in there that he would give them $5.00 a lug box for any old bottles they could find.
He wound up making about four trips in his PU to bring them all back.
            That is another story

That was on the Coast Starlite and the engine pictue was the Texas Eagle/Sunset Limited in LA getting ready to leave on my way to New Orleans(side note, security kinda jumped on me for taking pictures BUT I still have them)
Did take the City of New Orleans to Chicago..not that impressed, crew was soo oh hum and food not the best but it was a great 6000 mile trip.

Oh! NO! You mean the terrorists will know that there are ... WINDOWS in the front of the locomotive and, and seats (SEATS!) in the Parlour car?
