A good friend and co-worker of mine was involved in a bad accident last week. He remains in critical condition and in an induced coma. Total injuries are still unknown because he hasn't had an MRI, he had his spleen removed and is currently stable but not out of the woods yet. Just remember, watch out for the other guy...

Most recent news is the driver of the car had a suspended licence since last year and failure to yield the right of way by rolling a stop sign...

    sorry to hear that

Wade, I hate to hear stories like that, but thanks for posting as it also serves as a sobering reminder to watch out for people too stupid to drive.

Hate to hear about this stuff. It is all to familiar to me yet. All the assumptions in the world, and watching out as careful as you can will never protect you from a complete idiot.

Hope your friend recovers and quickly. He will never be the same, but hopefully will still be.

            Caged Drivers

Tis the season. That's why I posted earlier about my close call. It's so dangerous out there as it is without making a mistake yourself. How your friend recovers 100 %. I'll have my wife light a candle and say a prayer at church for him.

I met a fellow last month who stopped a speeding telephone pole with his body. It was a drunk driver incident. He was in a coma for three months, and laid up for a year with numerous severe injuries. Today, he is working and still enjoys riding his Harley.

I hope your friend makes a complete recovery.
