Here in Colo. that awareness sign is being posted on the Interstates VMS boards in alot of areas.
81H Venturer1100 "The Bentley" (on steroids) 97 Yamaha YZ250(age reducer) 92 Honda ST1100 "Twisty"(touring rocket) Age is relative to the number of seconds counted 'airing' out an 85ft. table-top.
I like that idea- don't mind the advertising myself, it's that extra and silly punctuation. Seems to detract or distract from the important message. A snip with scissors or knife would fix that for me. Guess I'll order one up and "customize" it for the truck.
These motorcycle law firms like to put out stickers, I've got a bumper strip from the Russ Brown firm that says "Kill a biker, go to jail." Haven't put it on anything yet. I do like the "watch out for motorcycles" idea though. Have a sticker on my Chrysler which says "Motorcycles, start seeing 'em!"

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in one pretty and well preserved piece, but to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, worn out and defiantly shouting, "WOW, what a ride !" - Sprung
it seems the only people who notice them are those who ride...i also wonder sometimes if maybe they see them and the reason they hit them is because they are jealous they dont have one themselves...or quite possibly they are just too stuck on watching the pretty bike ride by that they want to introduce their front bumper with our bodies and bike...

“Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle.”
"When in doubt, Gas it!. If it doesnt fix the problem, at least it will end the suspense!"
Saw a big poster in the DMV office yesterday that said the same thing. As always though, we just have to remember that we ARE invisible! The human eye has a difficult time seeing a bike, and since there are so few of them on the road, most folks are not tuned into seeing a vertical profile on the road. Stickers on walls or signs or bumpers are not going to change any of that...

Decal Request
Help us promote motorcycle safety and awareness!
Within the last few weeks, we have received an overwhelming number of emails requesting our decal: "WATCH OUT FOR MOTORCYCLES!!!" ®
We very much appreciate the common and shared goal of raising public awareness of motorcycle safety, making our roads safer for our fellow bikers.
Due to the high demand, the cost of printing, handling and postage, we are forced to discontinue the "free" decal program. We are processing the first 9,000 decal requests received to date and regret we cannot honor all free decal requests.
Consistent with the goal of increasing public awareness, the costs of future decal requests will be $2.00 to cover the expense of the decal, postage and handling, honored on a first-come-first-served basis.
Thanks to all for your understanding and for continuing to help up promote our message to: "WATCH OUT FOR MOTORCYCLES!!!®
