    30th Anniversary Patch for 1980 XS1100 Changes

I have talked to the patch maker. They cannot get the font clear enough on the side cover and tank. This is the fix they came up with. Let me know what you all think.

Not a fan of that. Would rather have the tank and side covers blank, personally.

Yuppers it is a patch but that did kinda make it look like it was homemade.
Blank I think will do just fine.

I'd go for blacking out the tank and covers... especially because that's what I did to my bike

Well if most agree then I will have them take the Yamaha and the xs 1100 special off the tank and side cover.

For what it's worth, I say make the tank and cover black.

                    patch

black without letters would be ok. the letters do make it look homemade.

The tank doesn't look too bad with "Yamaha" on it, but I agree the side cover really should be straight black.

Agree with forexbob. The tank badge were a focal point.

                        OR black.

OK, No xs eleven special on the side cover. I will have them keep the Yamaha on the tank.

                          sounds good?

I think most of us will be ok with the yamaha on the tank, they liked the last design, but the side panel now looks like the numbers on a boat.
