He's home crying because he wasn't one of the chosen.

Haven't you noticed how few people there are around today?

Oh, wait. It's the long weekend

Well you better enjoy Christmas this year because according to the Mayan calendar the world is coming to an end before Christmas 2012http://www.xs11.com/forum/showthread.php?t=30608

Yesterday, I called my wife and told her to go to the neighbor and make sure they leave us the keys to the house, cars, and motorized toys. I guess maybe their faith wasn't so strong.

Funny thing about the Mayan calendar is that the mayans don't think the world is ending. It is like going from 2011 to 2012.

I think so many assume it's because the Mayan's thought the world was going to end. I think they just figured they would come up with a better revised calendar before then, and didn't figure any need to take it out any further than that.

I think since the Mayans couldn't even sustain their own civilization, why should I listen to them?

I'm confused...why would it be better to have a few hundred more bucks in the pocket of your now-empty clothes than a couple of bikes in the garage? Is there a cover charge in heaven?

I thought of him when we picked a day to close my Dad's shop forever. "we'll make our last day the 21st, then we can say we made it until the end of time." Well I'm still here.
Wasn't he going to give them away on the 22nd?
