    Valtrex Commercial

    I was watching stupid TV late at night here at work, and a commercial for valtrex came on. Anyone seen it? It has a guy and a girl riding across the country on what looks to be an old XS eleven. The lines look just like my '78 E. It has some kind of saddle bags on it, no windsheild. Now every time I think of my bike, I will be forced to think about a medicine used to treat herpies!

      Hey there Travis,

      I think they found the perfect parallel!
      Just think of the XS11 like the herpes virus, the "gift" that keeps on giving !! They both get under your skin, and live in your nerves, and you can't get rid of it once you get it! And it's highly contagious, and when it's at its worst, it's quite ugly, but when it's under control, it's a thing of beauty ! ! !

                          As usual I'm late to the party but I just saw it and it's an XS11 all right. It looks like a Euro model like the one on the inside cover on the Hanes manual. I have a tank off one of those. There's no provision for tank badges. It has decals like the SR500 did.

                              Guys, if you get a chance to tape the commercial and really look at it closely and slowly, you'll see that they used 2 different models of XS11 in the shoot.
                              One has round mirrors, the other square ones. I'm not up to snuff on the models, but I don't understand why they couldn't use the same bike????
