Depends who's buying. If it's you, I'll have whatever you're having. If I have to buy my own, Rickard's Red is OK.

Way back when I used to drink (alchohol), my favorite beer was the one in my hand at the time.

                Turbodog

                Abita Turbodog

Turbodog is a dark brown ale brewed with Willamette hops and a combination of pale, crystal and chocolate malts. This combination gives Turbodog its rich body and color and a sweet chocolate toffee-like flavor. Turbodog began as a specialty ale but has gained a huge loyal following and has become one of our flagship brews.

Don't care for the diet stuff myself, full bore sugar high for me.

Never did like beer though, just didn't like the taste even a little bit. Don't even really like the smell.

But then I go for Mountain Dew Myself.

Although in the morning I drink Monster Energy Absolutely Zero for wakup.

The rest of the time it's Mountain Dew throwback, none of that high fructose cane syrup stuff for me if I can avoid it. I'm not sure I believe the conspiracy stuff about it, but it just don't taste the same, and that's what I care about.

Budweiser and Bud American Ale. Had some great beer from Chico, California once that my wife's cousin brought along for a visit. Have an empty bottle at home, but I can't remember the name (Sierra Nevada Brewing Company, maybe). But overall, I never turn down ANY beer!

                          What a great topic!!!

If I don't care about the cost then its always a dark beer, North Waterloo Dark, Guiness Draft, Sleemans Brown Ale, Rickards Red etc. Pretty much any dark or stout beer. Dark Stuff from England is good too - Fiddlers Elbow etc. As you can see I am a dark beer & ale conisour hehe. Utility beer (cheap stuff) lately has been Brava, under $30/cash (24) - Dan

Well when I drink beer it depends on the season.

Summer time its Samuel Adams Summer Brew
Winter time its Samuel Adams Winter.

Other than that I like gin and scotch.
