Back in the 60's I had a buddy who rode his Triumph 650 hill climbing and English trials. The XS11 is one major step larger. Would have been a gas when I was still bulletproof. Hate to think of the damage I would do to myself today - Still...!

With ya Denny, used to do all that crazy stuff on heavy scoots, and did it fairly well with some wild lookin' at the sky rides.......as in Metiese(however it was spelled) Triumphs, Matchless etc. Remember that you could get the Metiese frames for several of the twin four strokes back then. Cut down on the overall weight, but still would "eat" you on occassion. Likely not try it now. Just for example, yesterday rolled the ST 1100 out of garage to ride. Started it, put the side-stand down and was ever so slightly down-hill, swung leg off as it rolled forward off of stand tipping and pitching me across the driveway. Had my heavy padded armour jacket on but my backside left check hit REALLY hard.........two days later still sore in alot of other places also.........go figure.

@Brant - glad you weren't hurt except for pride.
