Yes, EXL is Motodirect's in-house brand.

I ordered a jacket, pants, and gloves from them. SO far, they seem to be very nice, but only time will tell.

I have almost ordered one of their mesh jackets but I kinda want hi-viz yellow and they don't have anything in that.

Which jacket did you get? Comfortable? Complaints?

I ordered the MJ401 textile Jacket (red), MP510 textile pants, GL1202 Gloves and the RS101 2pc rainsuit.

I have only worn the jacket and pants a couple of times, in sub 40deg weather, and I was warm, on the highway, with just jeans and a t-shirt underneath.

Both jacket and pants have a zip-out liner and are lined without the liner.

I ordered too large, though, so I sent them back for exchange.

Th rainsuit looks to be good quality, and I ordered it large enough to go over the jacket and pants, for those 'going to rain all day' trips.

The gloves are nice, very comfortable on the grips (thin, soft palms) but are a litte fussy for just going to the store (2 veclro straps to adjust each) I thik they will be great on trips.

I think, between all the pieces, I will be able to cover almost all the weather I may run into, with maybe the addition of a sweater, or heated vest.

Keep in mind it all cost 214.75 incl shipping, so I don't think I could go wrong.
Nice day, if it doesn't rain...

Update, I sent the two pieces back, on Apr 6 for resize, and even though Canada Post says they delivered the parcel to Motodirect on April 14th, MD says they don't have it.

Make sure you use a shipping service where the reciever has to SIGN for it!!

I LOVE my First Gear outer wear! I have the Jacket and pants for summer, as well as the Kilimanjaro Jacket for the cold! Good gear, and wears well.
I am looking for rain gear at the moment. with the rides I have planned, so I'm looking for GOOD rain gear.

                              I guess I don't qualify

For all the matching MC gear - I've got a Duluth Firehose jacket (like a heavy brown jean jacket) and hi-viz vest that I can wear over or instead of that I keep my patches on. I just ordered some of the Duluth firehose logger pants because they have a double panel in front (thighs and knee) - extra knee protection kneeling and warmer with two layers for the cool Colorado air I am expecting at the RALLY!

I have leather chaps but hate wearing them to ride cuz I feel like I should be hearing the music "chica chica bow wowww" porn music kick in...

                              John

PS if you don't know about Duluth Trading Co they make some pretty good heavy duty stuff for working wear. I swear by their stuff. chk them out.
