Not everyone knows the flange is different. I didnt know when I first got here. I am certainly glad I found out before I put a standard tank back on mine.

Thanks for the heads up Nate. I am currently looking for some standard petcocks, but not in a rush to find them yet. I know Mike's carries some universal petcocks with the adapter plates.1979 XS1100 F

my special came with the octo long gone and the tank off.
What I did was to cap off the "prime" ports and run Tygon lines from left tap to right tee and vice versa.
That gives two fuel hoses instead of eight. Simplicity rules, OK?Fred Hill, S'toon
