    Specialty Insurance

My father-in-law has a good policy on his vintage cars that allows him to enjoy them. I'm not sure which one it is.

J C Taylor or Grundy Insurance come to mind. GOOGLE is your friend.

Google has been NO help at all. I'm guessing one would need to know exactly which insurer does handle vintage motorcycles' rate, and go directly to their website. Since AMA is so involved with vintage machines, and fairly tied in with Progressive~~would seem that Progessive would do a "vintage" rate with vintage motorcycles ?!?!

I pay a bit more than that (something like $17/month) but it comes out automatically and I don't have to worry about it, has pretty heavy uninsured motorist and medical payment coverage (which would cover any and all of my co-pays) and full coverage on the bike (which the way things have been going these days appears to be going UP in value now) as well as roadside assistance through progressive. I originally had just PL/PD through them for like $75/year (their minimum) but then I had to remember to pay it each year, and in Ca, miss that by one day and man, talk about troubles and hassles, it's worth the extra to have to extra coverage, the roadside assistance and not have to worry about remembering to pay the bike insurance.

PS, had to get the coverage way over minimums to get it up high enough to get monthly payments to they would do auto pay. I may have to increase my coverage again this year, cause it went down again, and I'm actually below the amount that it's supposed to be for auto pay, but they are still doing it so I'm not saying anything unless they do, and then I'll just increase the payout amount and/or the deductable.

..........hmmmmmmmmm........I've checked out 5 vintage/collector insurance companies. Rates hi on 4 because they require 'collision and comp'. One insurer , JC Taylor", does require comp (aka 'comprehensive), but total premium, I can get down to $50 per annum, with my AR minimum liability requirement(s). The comp is '$7.00" of the '$50.00'....................
