  • site issues?

I find the site very cumbersome to work with, get bumped off alot and have to re-sign in, yes, even when I check the remember me box. Is it me or is this "normal"?

That is probably due to some of your settings on your browser itself. If it is set to dump its cookies every so often, your going to get logged off and it won't remember you.

I get this often and it's not my browser, I think. You can sign in, get the welcome message and then find you're NOT signed in. The best bet is to manually clear all your cookies (tools, internet options) and then it's fine

I NEVER have to re-sign into the site. Even on my phone, laptop, and 2 different PCs I access it from. NONE of them give me any problems. I did have the issue a while back where I had use a prozy server to access the site, but that was temporary. I'm using IE8 on my laptop and one PC, IE9 on my work PC, and Opera mobile on my phone.

Yeah... A bit of a typo there. A Proxy server is an internet tool where you access some website that is located somewhere other than your current location, then go THROUGH that website to get to your intended internet destination. It allows you to get into sites where your IP address (based on location) is blocked for some reason.

we also used to go through the proxy server in school to get to sites that the net nanny wouldn't allow you to. NOT recomended on a work computer, because you could be looking for new employment soon, but harmless for school
