Roger. I was on it years ago when it was here in Cincinnati. It was parked at the old Amtrak station. One bad azz engine...it was buring oil then and not coal..would start too many firesHad her hooked up to a local fire plug, one of the few times I did not have my camera with me
Rode behind a few steamers, longest ride I think was from Portsmouth OH to Ieager WV I used to drive thru this town every week when I was a driver.. Great part of the country..I was never accepted as I was a northerner, even after 4 years of delivering hospital supplies.

Awesome video, man! We have a lot of steampower shows for old farm equipment around here, and my kids and I love to check them out. Certainly a bygone era, but not forgotten.

My great uncles used to run trains from Pa through Ohio down into WVA and the area.
I love to drop in to Altoona and the Great Horseshoe Curve when in the area.

All modern stuff running now but you can get within maybe 25 feet of them when they go by. LOTS of horsepower moving them around. It's well worth a stop for railroad buffs

Great videos guys, I been a steam fan forever. My daddy worked for the Chicago Northwestern in the 30's and the 40's. When I was three yrs old my daddy took me down to the roundhouse in Hudson, Wi. We walked through a side door. And there it was, not 5 feet away, a huffing and a puffing. To me that engine was about 80 feet tall and a city block long. It scared me half to death and I cried until we left. Been a fan every since. That was in 1945.
