I had some respect for him when he was playing for Green Bay... but now he's just pissin me off.

Just read this Favre is done - my words, not theirs and I'm thinkin... just go away... which sucks... because I used to really like him.

Don't know when to leave the game

As happens with too many star athletes . . . they just don't know when to pack it in. To borrow a line from Top Gun . . . "Your ego is writing checks that your body can't cash". I agree . . . he should have stayed retired when he left Green Bay!

Too true unfortunately... There have been a couple of players in the past who retired with my respect and admiration, only to come out of retirement and completely throw it all away.

I thought it almost poetic justice that Green Bay beat out the Bears (and I like Da Bears) for a playoff spot the same year favre decided (again) that it was time to retire. Too bad it wasn't Minnesota though.

I was asked to inform you Kat that Tod is only 2 years older and Greg is only 11 years older than Favre and neither of them have given up yet!

Favre does on the other hand have a good 20 years or so as a commentator that he should take advantage of.

farve is gone thank god. if he were to play another season he probably be disabled. he took alot of hard hits this season. but knowing hime he will take a year off and go to the European league or become franchise owner...of the lions..lol
