The XJ was sold in a few markets in '84, inclucing Canada and Mexico, maybe in other parts of the world? In any event, it is not uncommon to see the XJ's bought and sold as '83 and '84 models. As far as I know the only difference is a speedometer that is calibrated for kmph instead of mph. The models also carry a different VIN from the US's 10M designation. 11G, I believe, for all model years, at least in Canada. I don't know about Mexico's VIN. Again, as far as I know, no changes in the any model years, all parts interchange between XJ1100s in all markets.
