So sorry to hear of your bodily damage, you got all the nasty ones, especially the back! please accept our good wishes for your total recovery. As Fred says, if you are on drugs, or any kind of duress, no promise or statement is valid. This even applies to a court of law. Is your pastor worried you'll get to heaven before him? Anyway God bless both you and him.

Sorry to hear about the dance with the reaper. I'm glad to hear that you got that off your dance card. Just one thing to remember, make no unchangeable decisions that you might regret a few years down the road.

Best wishes for a full recovery.

Very sorry to hear of the accident, but very, very glad you're here to talk about it. It seems that these stories are becoming more and more common, but I just love to ride. Heal up quick, and be careful out there everyone. Please!

          Damn Chevy,
You went swimming after breaking all those bones? Geezz, were you trying to evade the po-po. Never mind, I hope you mend quickly and get back in the saddle soon. Promises under duress don't count, as was stated before.
          Good luck!!

Do what you feel is right. I have a 13 yo son and a now 17 yo daughter to think of as well. I know the look in their eyes when they tell about the accident. And with it being fresh and you not healed up it feels very different, and emphasises how vunerable you are sitting on that machine versus enclosed in a car.

For me, after I got healed up and back to walking around and such, the fever came back hard. But I also had a spare bike sitting in the garage.

Sorry to hear about your crash. Sounds like a nasty one. I got T-boned by a lady that ran a red light in '72. Tore me up pretty bad and turned my 250 Suzuki into a parts rig. Dad said no more bikes. Had a 200 Yamaha stashed at a friends house for months before he found out. "His way or the highway", so I moved out to my own place. Hip replacement in '98 made me get rid of all the dirt bikes but kept the XS. The bike bug never goes away (for me anyway) so keep some hope up. I know you have a long road to recovery but at least your still around to recover!!!! Get well soon and stay in touch.

Wow Mike sorry to hear about the major mishap. Heal quick and well.
Take care of the daughters now when they need you most. As they move on in later years ya can rethink that decision.
