    Christmas Day present on present!!

As you would imagine as soon as he opened his present from dad, the plastics, we had to go out and install them. I had gone out a few days in advance and got the correct bolts/fasteners so we could install the kit.
So here is what it looks like with the plastics. Starting to look like a real dirt bike:

    Big difference from this:

The radiator was bent/twisted so after a lot of thought and not wanting to take a chance of breaking it by twisting it straight, I just made a little bracket that extended the mounting point of the radiator shroud. Worked out great, and Jr. learned a little bit about modifications!!

It's been freezing here so riding, his and mine, have been on hold.

Looks great!!! And somehow I think our definitions of freezing might differ. Just as mine is probably much more girlish than our compatriots in Northern Canada!
Life is what happens while your planning everything else!

When your work speaks for itself, don't interrupt.

I hear you loud and clear on that one, re: freezing.
But don't know if you've heard, we've had several nights of hard freezes here in FL this week, not to mention the ones we had last month. Big looses in the ag sector, most winter crops have been lost and citrus is barely hanging in there.
Thanks for the compliment on the bike!!
