  • That's the Birthday Spirit.

    Hey there folks,

First, wanted to mention for those that might not know it, the site automatically sends out a Happy B'day email greeting to all members that are registered with their B'day in their profile. It's just a form letter type thing, but it's still nice to be acknowledged. A few folks have replied to the Admin email account in response to their email B'day wish.

I received this one a few days ago from a member named Mousseau, his profile says he's in Ottawa/Ontario, Canada. I don't know my Canadian geography very well at all. I know we have a few active members in his neck of the woods. He's not asking for any assistance at all. But just read his reply. I hope I'm still riding my 2 wheeler when I get close to his age!

    Well thank you.

I cooked another XS11 engine. I have a third engine that tests OK. Being 86(y/o) and subject to a lot of family pressure to sit in a rocking chair. I am disposing of my bikes. Too much time to rebuild again. I can buy a good Xs11 for the money I would earn washing dishes for the time the reassembly and repair would take. I am slowing down (in the shop). My dream is a Hayabusa, customized; to park in front of the house. I plan to ride next year, a little slower with more caution. A trike is not a bike, but then I am still in pretty good shape. Good wishes to all you guys.

That's awesome. I doubt I'll make it that long, but if I do I hope I still have juice to rock a busa.

      Wow!!!

As Project said, THAT IS AWESOME!! I surely hope that at 86 I can lift my sorry a$$ leg over the seat and push the starter button and go for a ride.
Lots of pride in that man not to settle for a trike...not that there's anything wrong with them, but he won't settle, jeezz!!
      This is sooo fricking cool.
TC, bet you felt your chest swell up a little bit from that one.

          How very cool!
I don't plan on being around that long... but like others have said, if I am, I hope I still have the drive and determination of this man
