  • Talk about a busy month...

Just thought It'd let y'all know Im still here, just been very busy. I bought my first home and moved im on 10/1, then last week decided to buy a 84 K10 pickup for a daily driver that needs some work... and decided last week that it would be aa good time to get married! So this saturday 10/30 Im having a small ceremony with close family to tie the knot. Sooo... I've been a busy man lately and havent had much time to even come on here (I might have to get use to that), so I thought Id share the good news. I will put up some pictures of the truck when I can... and I will finally be able to post a pic of my garage, although its empty...

            Hi Wade and congratulations,
especially on your marriage. Despite Bad Bill's comment, wedding photos can be in good taste:-

Fred, you have a sidecar and she still rides on the back? She must still really like you.

                Hi Nate,
to quote the punchline from an old joke, "She still sleeps with me, don't she?"
The 1989 wedding photo shows the start of our slow speed bike ride round town with Alva riding sidesaddle, even.
The 2007 photo was a posed shot taken during the "Geezers on wheezers" tour of northern Montana.
You can see how 21 years has turned the XS650 solo into an XS11 sidecar rig, myself into an old fart and let Alva achieve the full maturity of her beauty.
Apart from that photo op, she rides in the sidecar playing Elvis on her discman.

                    Hi Elevener,
yeah, back then I thought so too. 21 years later I realize I was just a kid in those days.

Thank you everyone, things seem to never slow down when you become a home owner and get married... and buy a project truck that you need for the winter.

Here is a pic of the truck...

This last week Ive been replacing all the rear brakes and all associated hardware and lines. Next, it needs new rear leaf springs and then I should be able to get it inspected. I still need to put in the front drive shaft and hook up the transfer case shifter...

                          And front of the house...

I didnt get one of the Wife and I on photobucket yet so...more to come yet...
