  • ...and lucky me

Another one followed me home, but that usually happens once you get them on the trailer.
Anyone know how many of these 81 full dressed bikes were made? I was hoping to get one of the larger tanks but the bike kind of came with it and while cosmetics are poor the motor seem solid so I have yet another project.

Very Cool. The possibly rarest of the beast, the Venture.

With floor boards, what looks like a heel/toe shifter and the original Venture Seat. Nice Find!

Did you get the Lowers too?

Those turn downs look like they are stuffed into the stock mufflers.

That's VENTURER all! Not a bad looking project to resurect. I'm guessin' that there were more Midnights sold than Venturer 1100's just cause back then if you were gonna do the 'touring' thing majority bought GoldWings. Rode both before buying and the Yammy performance and handleing were above what the Wing offered other than the Wing had all the comunnication systems already on board.........As you see, the rest is history.
81H Venturer1100 "The Bentley" (on steroids) 97 Yamaha YZ250(age reducer) 92 Honda ST1100 "Twisty"(touring rocket) Age is relative to the number of seconds counted 'airing' out an 85ft. table-top.

Those are Yamaha bags and the stripes glow at night when a light hits them.
