  • Partsnmore\'s new website

Anyone seen partsnmore\'s new website? It looks pretty! It\'s lacking some needed search tools, but per an email response I got from them, they should have that working in the next few days.

    One word....

    SUCKS!!!!

Tried to find stuff on there yesterday. They better do a pot load of work to get it as user friendly as the old site. Have to search through 100s of items to find what your after if you can find it, and it is somehtign I could find in two seconds on the old site!

Change for the sake of change alone, sucks!!

I wonder if Mike's affiliation (whatever it is) with Partsnmore is why he refuses to offer up cross references to other bikes... It would be the first reason I have come up with that makes any sense at all as to why you would not want to make more money selling your parts.

I agree DGXSER the new one is crappy. Went on there yesterday & got out & went in again thinking I got the wrong place. The old one was better. As you stated it was easier to find what you want & quickly. - Dan

Just took a look at that site, Yea that is alot harder then the old site,
How would you find that Front master cylinder, as it is not Yamaha specific.

Looked and could not find it.

Ah ok, just saw the universal parts listing, but not as descriptive it seems.

              Yeah, No likey

The old site was much easier to navigate...

But, rather than looking for the XS11SG, I clicked on the XS1100 link and got a whole list of stuff.

Prices are still pretty good, though.

I bought the front master cylinder, and put it on my Special. Could not get it to bleed for the life of me! So I unbolted the MC from the handle bars, tilted it slightly upwards, and got it bled the first time! There was an air pocket that was never gonna clear with the MC bolted to the buck horn bars, at that downward angle.

              Looks good too!
