Going to have a look at this one tomorrow. He is asking 1500 but will take offers. I think I might end up with a much better price after talking to him on the phone. Will have to see what happens.

Only thing that caught my eye is a fair amount of what looks like rust at the swing arm bolt part of the frame. You may want to look close at the frame for rust issues. One of the harder parts to come by, especially with a title.

Looks nice! Better check the forks, looks like front air bag went off.

Fork seals are shot, carb boots are cracked, rear tire is kaputski, Rust is supposed to be just surface. I will definetly be checking that out. Has 21,000 km's ( converts to 13,000 miles ) on it and is apparently all stock. He just declared bankruptcy and has to sell to buy a car for cash. He has had it for sale for 10 days and no firm offers. He says to make him an offer and as long as it is not ridiculous he will accept. Once I get a good look I will know more. Never had an XJ before but who knows

            Bought it

Well I bought this bike and rode her today. $800 bucks to get it done. Fork seals are shot, carb boots are cracked, rear tire is kaputski, rust is where battery acid dripped down. Crack in the right exhaust where the muffler starts. Other than that it is stock and complete. Even has the security chain and complete toolkit. Starts right up and runs very nicely. Gas tank looks like new inside, no rust in there whatsoever. I am one happy dude.
