I really don't think that you would like them Besides my intentions are to move back to Cheeseland, and I will need WI plates when I do!

          Hi Dave,
you can see my vanity plate in my avatar.
          Plain ol' XS.
My boys got me the plate for Father's day perhaps 10 years ago when my main ride was an XS650.
The plate Nazis said I coudn't have XS650 because "We may at some future date issue an XS series plate and it could be mistaken for one of them."
So fukkem, I settled for "XS"
It worked out well, in the end.

Very nice Fred! I had to give the state three choices, but that never occurred to me.

I've been waiting on getting a vanity plate in my state. Just not sure if I want the extra fee that is applied, especially since the NH Department of Safety added a $45 fee per year to the state portion of the registration. Vanity plates are an extra $25 to the state. Been thinking about getting an antique plate which costs less per year. They're available per state statute, but I haven't been able to find an image of one online and their registration site doesn't have a code for it.

I would never want an antique or collector plate. Is the 5 status I have lived in all of the had the law written so that you were limited to at most 5000 miles a year ( usually less) and the you also cannot drive it all 12 months of the year, they cut out 1 to 3 months of the year, usually winter but still.

Yeah, same here, except in MO, you're limited to ONLY riding to and from parades or other events. Vanity plates are an idea, but I kinda like the idea of paying as little as possible to maintain my bike.

No limits on Antique plates here. Just a different variant plate and a $4 yearly extra fee.

I don't believe Ca has a limitation on the YOM plates (Year Of Manufacture). But getting one of those would be pretty useless for mine since it still has the original plates that went on it new.
