    nice

Being 51 years old i love it we used to chop our bikes like that when i was younger .It reminds me of my 650 BSA Lighting that i raked and put a 6 in extension onto the forks . i also laced a harley rim to the rear hub so i could put on a fatter tire and lowered the back end by making it ridgid. God the bumps hurt lol. but i was styling . love ur bike brought back some memories thanks ..........MITCH

Cold we get a closer look at the sidecover replacement? This is something that is pretty hard to replace unless you have deep pockets, looks pretty decent from a distance. BTW - that must be some of that fancy chameleon paint on the tank, eh, the kind that changes from grey to black depending on the angle of the light...

        Thanks Guys,

The guy I bought it from had the side covers made out of stainless I understand he had a friend in a sheet metal shop that made them for him. He also made him a rear fender.

I am going to replace the front with a chrome tin and I guess paint the back one again.

I am sending the tank off to paint next week and saved some cash by doing the prep work on the tank myself. It was too pretty not to ride today. Hurricane coming Thrusday so I had to get in another ride. I believe I am addicted..

I am still trying to find a chrome set of rear shocks that are in better shape than these but I'm still looking I missed a bid on ebay earlier..

I'll take some more pictures as she progresses

Great looking mods! I like to see some closer pics of the back end from the side and rear when you get the chance.

looks like the pipes coming out of the manifold are pretty blued up. is that because of the filters?

I havent put the filters on it as of yet. I dont know why they blued but they where that way when I bought her. Any thoughts?

                      blue pipes

Most times thats just from running hot . Like a hot day just driving slow down town etc, or could be the nature of the after market pipes ,I had a 850 triple that blued the pipes and i put 100th klms on it with no trouble love the look of madness, but that seat OUCH!!!!! regards MITCH

The seat is Brutal. After about 30 miles my butt is tingling and numb. I must find a more comfortable seat if i plan to ride this thing any distance at all.
