    Yep, the interface it tough to get used to, and VASTLY different from XP. That said, once gotten used to (I've been using Vista for years) I find it easier to use than XP, but it was hard to get used to it after years of XP. Give it time, it will get easier as time goes by.

      Why not make a few partitions ( I would with a drive that size and dual boot it? Thats what I do. If it doesnt work just remove it from that partition.

      FWIW I have a dual core and 2 gigs and it runs fine, but Im stuck on XP. Win7 makes dual booting easy.

        That's interesting, Elevener, I'll think about that ... one of my drives which is not used anymore is a dual booter ...XP and 98 ... lol. I didn't realize that XP had an emulation mode when I set it up. Reason for the dual booter was I had lots of cool old software that didn't run very well on XP ... of course it turned out to be an exercise in futility once I learned a little more about XP.
