    Thieves hit Deal's Gap

For any of you guys that like to tame the Dragon, take your keys with you when you leave the bike,...actually, it's not a bad idea anywhere you leave the bike these days.

Why would you leave your keys in your bike ANYWHERE!? You lock your house when you leave it, you lock your car when you leave it, you lock your BIKE when you leave it. It's just common sense!
    1980 XS850SG - Sold
    1981 XS1100LH Midnight Special (Sold) - purchased 9/29/08
Fully Vetterized and Dynojet Kit added, Heated Grips, Truck-Lite LED headlight, Accel Coils, Irridium plugs, TKAT Fork Brace, XS850LH Final Drive & Black SS Brake lines from Chacal.
Here's my web page devoted to my bike! XS/XJ User's Manuals there, and the XJ1100 Service Manual and both XS1100 Service manuals (free download!).

It's a Harley rider thing. Cant be a real badass if you lock your bike in public. Wrap them up in chains at home, but not in public.

I don't lock my house unless I'm going on vacation for a week or so. But that probably is because of the people wandering around wearing the funny hats and carrying guns all the time.

I dunno... I've heard of quite a few break-ins at on-base housing. Personally, I wouldn't lock my house unless I was leaving (for any amount of time), but SWMBO make sure the house is locked even when we are home. THAT drives me crazy sometimes. Vehicles, however, are always locked unless I am actively working with/driving them.

and what the hell are kids that young doing driving that car? I am 21 now, and finally got MYSELF a nice truck... If they need to be stealing bikes, odds are they can't pay for that car... My parents never let me drive his truck... I had to work my @$$ off at minimum wage to buy my first vehicle which grenaded on me 3 days later... then the parents helped me out on the second one...sorry to rant...... were was I? who are you? and what are these things on my face??!?!
There are only two types of bikers...
those that have layed it down, and
those that have not layed it down...YET!
