During the past few days the events of 9/11 have been replayed on our tv. I was thinking about how those of us that live in a free nation just how lucky we are. Even though they make laws to regulate some things that we do and can't do, we STILL have our freedom to ride and speak openly about our govenment and if we are unhappy how they are running our country. I belong to a great thing call ABATE. They help look out for our riding freedom and educate the pubic about safety abot motorcycles and other wheeled rec. vehicles. I like that. I think we should all support ABATE and AMA as well they help us keep what we have.

I agree, as a former officer of my local ABATE, and a 5 year member and legislative supporter of the AMA, I agree that each of need to decide what we feel is important and support it, in any way we can. 50 looks and no replys? Whats up with that?Gary Granger

The AMA is a national organization, so easy to find thier website.
American Motorcyclist Association
ABATE (American Bikers Aimed Toward Education) on the other hand is usually a state oganization. I looked and did not see a Chapter in MO, but found the following:
Freedom Of Road Riders
They seem to be the same type of group for MO.Gary Granger

I will always wear a helmet, law or not. I just don't want to be discriminated against because I ride a motorcycle.Gary Granger
