  • Calendar pics for 2011

Well... there's been a switch in the line up... so let's try this again.
Several members have sent me pics for the calendar... I will use these pics unless someone sends me a PM or e-mail asking that I not use one they have already sent to me.

With riding season upon us... I just wanted to put out this reminder...

Please send your pic to my e-mail address (PM for address) along with the following information:

    - Year of the bike
    - Month you prefer
    - and your handle here as well as your real name

I want one of the calendars to have some truly breathtaking shots...
For this calendar, if you can... please make the background something spectacular...
No garages, driveways or broken anythings...

    As always, for all calendars...

    - no people please
    - as high resolution as possible
    - please make sure the lighting is decent
    - I'd prefer no gear... but I understand that unloading the bike for a pic can be a PITA so if you have to have gear on your bike, please make it sightly
(of course, if you pack your bike like I do... all you'd see is gear ANYway... lol)

Please have your pics in by September 30, 2010

    Thanks and happy riding!

Well, it's all dependent on me finishing the repaint in time. It's part one color and part another right now, and I'd go with the fairing being different but the trunk lid and paint damage on the tank kinda make it not look so good. We'll see if I can get the tank fixed and the trunk lid replaced and painted in time to get in a ride where I can get a good background for the calendar (not gonna try something to just ok, it's gotta be a good background for a ride that goes nicely with the paint.

alabama-al... my pleasure... I really enjoy doing it and thank you for your calendar submissions in the past... What a treat!

Thank you for posting the link Brian

              and thank you Joab

Hey Cy... sounds awesome! Keeping fingers crossed all works out well...

I guess if the bike is a few different colors... you could always park it by a waterfall and put a pot of gold by it?

(It's early... no coffee yet... the jokes aren't going to be good... apparently)

One of the hardest things is going to be getting a good background and also getting the right angle to show off the paint job. This color changing paint is hard to catch on camera, so that's going to make getting the pics kinda fun.
