  • What 750?

I don't post very often, but do enjoy reading just about everyting that comes through. Just had an xsperience that I thought you all might like.

There is a girl that I work out with at the gym that I have seen ride on a shadow 750. I know that she can ride well. She is always bragging on her bike about how hard it pulls, how good it soundsl, how it will "wax" alot of others out there. I let her ride my 78 last night after our workout. I told her to find a straight spot and roll on in 2 nd gear.

I was a little nervous when she pulled out, but have never heard the sound of my bike when someone else pulled away on it. (Supertrapp no baffles) and it was quite cool. When she came back she had the biggest smile that I have ever seen! I am not even sure if she got to the sweet spot in the rpm's, but she won't be bragging on the 750 anymore!

By the way this is off topic I know, but I am selling a jeep if anyone is interested.

        Hehe... showoff...
I reassembled mine... XS that is... still smokes from the right pipe... I suspect #3 cyl.
Gotta get me some QMI or some similar teflon oil additive and see what happens.
Any of you checked out the new CBF600?

If it doesn't have an engine, it's not a sport, it's only a game.

No, have not seen that one. Saw a guy the other day that had a tl 1000. He had many racing parts on it (wheels, forks, shocks, etc.) and also NOS. He was putting out a self claimed 160 b.h.p. to the rear wheel. Scary. He said that the front tire did not even sit down until after 140 mph.

My question was obviously why would you do 130 mh on only one wheel?

Will check out the 600 on the internet.
