  • Goodbye To The Yamaha Seca Turbo

I traded the XJ650LJ Seca Turbo for a 380 SX KTM

The next day sold my 1998 Honda CR500 for a KTM 300 EXC Enduro. I have KTM fever....LOL Dang it's great. I hope you all catch it.

Wouldn't be right without a pic of the 1978 XS1100E

Yeah, the wonderful spaghetti pipes. I notice that you don't have the turnouts though. How do the pipes that are on there sound? I know I like the sound of my Jardine 4-2 turnouts.

Kind of a low growl. I wish they were a little quieter but they sound OK I guess.

So are you going to miss the 1.5 second lag between twist and gone?????? As I HAD a 650 Turbo with the boost kit, I DO know what they are like!

Trying not to think about it. I was with Bob Jones when his son Snark and I took one of the first ones out of the crate. I was the 3rd one to ride one. I was hooked. This one was my 4th one since 1982. All good things come to an end. Time for a new direction. Back to the offroad now. Except for the XS1100 and the Ultra.
