I'm pointing towards Seattle. I doubt I'll make it that far but who knows. Taking my 2 meter radio with me to kill time in the evenings. So if anyone between NE & WA hears KC0ONV calling - be sure to pick up!

7 days, 2500 miles later
i'm back. and as i thought i didn't make it all the way to seattle. I lost two days putting around wyoming waiting for weather to clear - and when the snow started up friday while I was in Yellowstone I decided it was time for me to head back. Guess I'm not hard-core enough.
Had my longest drive ever - I drove straight through from Jackson, Wyoming to Loup City, NE yesterday - 14 hrs, 760 miles.
not counting about 10-15 minutes during some very heavy rain when i lost a couple cylinders (i think i need new plug wires) - the bike ran like a champ the whole time. started great even in the mts below freezing. I did notice a little clutch slippage as I neared home though.
Aside from the ultra-crappy weather... all in all it was a great trip - hopefully I'll get some pictures up here soon.

Glad to see you made your trip with no problems. Hope you enjoyed the senary. sounds like weather put a damper on some of your trip.but doesn't sound like it dampened your spirit.when you want something bad enough, don't let anything stand in your way, and don't take "no" for an answer. EVER

Home Safely!
Hey there Beech,
Glad you made it back in one piece. I had to readjust my clutch on my way to XSEast2002, pulled the cover off and did it in the parking lot of a convenience store! I had my full set of tools with me. After readjusting it, it worked fine, so that's probably all yours will need!!!
Speaking of weather, I've got possibly 2 days before ISABEL tries to blow us away, living here in southeast Va. just a jump from the NC northern border!!!! I hope Godzilla doesn't have to learn how to swim!!!
