  • High Mileage

    Proud moments

A week from this Friday, sometime on August 20th, my odometer will pass 50,000 miles. When I got the bike as a first time ride in 2006 it had a little over 27k on the odo. So another 4,000 or so and just about half of the miles on the bike will belong to me.

That's a pretty cool feeling. It's gonna take a few on mine, as I got it with 68,000 on the clock, and I've got something like 83,000 on it now in just under 2 years. Now my XS400 I got with 14,400 on the clock and it's got about 51,000 on it now. So I know how good it feels to know that most of the miles are yours.
