We changed our minds about the 80 specil, it was in too bad a shape.

But as luck would have it we have acquired our second edtion of a 1979 XS100 special!!! It runs and is in pretty good conditon.

Now we have one that runs, while we work on the other one, but as the story goes, we will be looking for a few parts. We really need a tail light module.

Any suggestions from you other addicts!!!LOL

Do you mean tail light assembly? If so, many other Yamahas of that year used the same one. I'm pretty sure the SR500 and the XS650 both used the same tail light as the 79 Special.

The 80 special had the tail light tucked up the rear of the seat.
