Urgent!!

I got a barbed fshing hook stuck in my finger... you guys haven't let me down yet... whats the best way to get it out?

So says the First Aid Manual:

push it the rest of the way through and cut the barb off with a pair of wire cutters... then, remove the rest of the hook by pulling it out the way it went in.

OR...

You can go to the emergency room where a technician will...

Take a leak first if you didn't already when you burried the hook!

If the hook is not deep you can run a few loops of fishing line around the bend in the hook, push down on the eye of the hook and give the line you have around the bend of the hook a good yank. That should get the hook out as well, especially if the barb is just burried under the skin but too deep to back out.

Please refer to the first line in this post either way. Don't forget to alcohol the hook before either way you go about removing the hook.
Refrain from any internal application of any alcohol until the hook is removed. That may cause a lack of judgement and confusion as to when to take the leak.

only in your finger? Try getting one out of your face.
Even in your finger should teach you that you shoulda gone barbless, eh?
The ol' sidecutter trick and a good soak in Dettol afterwards should fix it.
