A boss who once told me I needed to hurry up at work.
A co-worker who kept pestering me to join him on Facebook.
A neighbor who called my XS a "Rice-Burner POS."
A parts counterman who sold me the wrong main jets for my XS.

    You know...the "Usual".

Let's see, in my fridge I have
        4) bottles of water
        1) bottle of Mountain dew
        1) bottle of Long Hammer beer
        1) bottle of Bacardi "Rum Island Iced Tea"
        1) dozen eggs
        1) jar of "Hot" sliced Jalapeno peppers
        1) pint of Nestea instant Ices tea
along with miscellaneous condiments and such.
        Now for the freezer,
        2) frozen bottles of water
        2) re-useable ice packs
        1) box of ice cream bars
        8) Banquet TV dinners
there are some other things in there I can't identify, but they don't move, so I am unconcerned. that's about it for food in my house except for the box of Little Debbie Nutty Bars, the can of coffee, and the fifth of Jim Beam. ah, I'm just livin' the high life. try not to envy me, as difficult as that seems, you all will be better off for it. have a nice day and ride safe

Compressor motor burned up sometime early Sunday morning.
            New fridge being delivered Wednesday.

Maybe I should make a wider path to the kitchen... for the delivery guys.

                Public Service Announcement:

                Interesting...
                Moved the old fridge out...
                "What the hell?"

The timer that runs the defroster coils and also turns the compressor on and off was gone... disappeared without a trace! It left a nice burn hole right down into the sub-flooring when it departed.

I run a fan in the kitchen window at night to draw cool air through the house. Whatever smoke this thing made when it burned up was sucked right out of the kitchen before reaching the smoke alarm.

                Public Service Announcement:
                Check/replace your Smoke Alarm's battery.

Well, I maybe have said things at times in other places that implied that the part was running away, but frankly I had a tailshaft anti-vibration weight on a Chevy Vega try to commit suicide by trying to jump off the Tacoma Narrows bridge a bunch of years ago. Finally sold that Vega to a guy that was going to tub it and put a small block chevy in it and take it to the drag strip. At least I knew it was going to have another life, see as it had been in a flood so the drivetrain was toast.
