  • Wanted to say THANKS!

I just wanted to make the effort to say THANKS!
To all who have contributed to this site, developed and maintained it and taken the time and personal expense necessary to post pics, helps, mechanical tips & repairs and shared riding experiences and knowledge.... I for one want you know how much I appreciate it.
My XS is now in different stages of repair: I did the fuse box rebuild/upgrade(wires were twisted together inside fuse holders...no fuses and no solder), the carbs are on my bench waiting for Mikuni main jets to arrive, the Octopus is gone (thats a story in itself! There was no spring inside it and the petcocks were 'destroyed' inside), my manual fuel petcocks arrived today, the tank goes to the 'Rad' shop monday for a cleaning and addition of fuel bladder, the pick-ups and coils have been inspected and checked and I even devised a way of installing traditional saddlebags! I do want to find a set of handlebars (sportbike like Dragxs11 did and a different tail light assembly with signals mounted on it) and I rebuilt and beefed-up the side covers (and the left one works and locks!).
I might even get a ride in before the snow flies!!!!
All would not have been possible (not readily anyway) without the help and tips from the members here. Special thanks to the Moderators and Admins for your work and Passion.

    Travel safe, CMA1 (Larry)

    Congrats

I too would like to thank the people who make this all WORK!
I stop by several times a day to keep up with the continuing evolution of the XS11.
It is a great site with solutions to virtually every problem and short coming of a great run it forever bike.
Please keep the faith and keep it up.
    Thanks again.
