Found the tank emblems that say Yamaha at the Golf cart place, they are almost identical. I am very happy mostly because I only paid $3.00 each, so I bought a second set just in case. Now my delema is finding the ones that say "XS Eleven Special". Any ideas?

Check out the "search" feature. Ken Talbot has been making new emblems for the Standards. With some prodding, maybe he could be coaxed to make a set of templates for the Special.
Afterall, it IS a better bike. )

tank emblems

I walked into a bike salvage yard over here not long ago, and picked up decent looking tank badges and screws

for $9 per pair.. and they are original, a little scuffed but original


btw i have an extra xs11 (not special) side emblem for the asking.

Your not gonna believe this, after a few calls to some local dealers here in Chicago, I found a guy that I just ordered a set from over the Labor day weekend. He had access to a set for 15.00 each brand new. Did'nt want to pay that much, but I could'nt pass up a brand new set. They should be there this weekend. Thanks for responding
