    I think it is sort of silly to hammer this innovation because it isn't a solution. Think of it as being a step toward the solution.

    I remember a news story years ago about people proudly asking for paper bags rather than plastic, then being shown the waste and environmental damage done in the manufacture of paper.

    Isn't TATA a leader in air-bag technology?

      I don't know if this is the one I read about, but I remember reading about one that would charge it's own tank on a pretty small amount of electical power, and used a special setup at home, that could be run off solar power. I understand these things run of VERY high pressure, with the big issue being designing tanks that are both light AND safe even under impact, and the safety devices to prevent them from becoming a bomb or high pressure cutting tool in an accident.

          Latest I heard was that they are set to produce a four door, full size car for the US market; the "Bodacious TaTa"!
