  • New Addition To The Family

    My little helper

    She's a doll

Her favorite play area, my computer desk

Our kittys don't seem to mind her, they play together, she eat's their food and uses their litter box too

    She's really got us spoiled

It's going to be very hard to turn her over to an animal rehabilitation center but it wouldn't be fair to her to keep her. She's been a very well behaved guest to our family.

my aunt had one when I was a teen, found it at a boat launch with its head stuck in a beer can. She kept it for a while but it got really really mean as it got older despite being well "cared" for. She let it go on their farm and its doing fine, still see it around, sometimes it will actually come if you call its name and I swear its the biggest raccoon you'll ever see. We worried about it being able to fend for itself after being raised by people, but they're so smart and have such strong instincts that I don't think its really a problem.

BTW my aunt currently has a baby skunk that we found in the street, didn't even have its eyes open yet. Not as smart as the raccoon but man does having it hang out on the front lawn keep the door to door salesman away!

I got a barn here that I thought of letting her stay out in when she got older but I have 3 dogs that she does not like at all. Plus I'm in a pretty populated area and I'm afraid something would happen to her if I just let her go when she got older around here. A friend here has had one as a pet for 3yrs now but he said they shred everything and do tend to get mean when they get older but the female is the less aggressive.
