Makes you wonder. In Baton Rouge there is a congregation that spent so much money building three gigantic crosses along I-10 that they couldn't afford build the church.

Once you un-can a can of worms, the only way to re-can them is with a bigger can.
Perhaps it is less well known that I thought. Locally it is a well known....eye soar. Perhaps because the thing sits in the egde of this acre or two lake and faces the highway and not the church. The church has a neon light sign "Solid Rock Church". Now the church has multiple buildings and is also rather "eye catching" trimmed in neon lights itself.
So, it is sort of a "Godsend" that it was destroyed in many peoples eyes. Of course now the local scuttlebut is that they plan to have Big Butter Jesus resurrected....errr.....restored in three days.
