Yeah. There are 2 more, both for sale. Once was Bob's regular ride, and it has a sidecar on it.

The other looks a lot like that one, but is much more polished, and has had a bit more tuning done to it.

Is Terry's bike still around? TNT?

Limie Accent is a sweet ride. Glad you have it. I always wanted this bike since the first time I rode it.

I was Merriam Cycle's first Mechanic. After the doors were locked at Joco Motors Yamaha, Merriam Cycle was placed in Mark "Snark" Jones name. He was Owner and Service Manager. Bob's ex wife Pat and her boyfriend Brad ran parts. During this time Bob was riding his midnight Turbo back and forth when he could show up at Merriam. Business slowed due to seasons and I left because I've always worked 2 jobs. Still been with Bob on and off since 1981.

It was at Joco Motors that I found my first love. 1982 XJ650LJ Yamaha Seca Turbo. We got one of the first ones in the USA. I still ride this daily along with my 1978 XS1100E. During this ride last weekend my wife and I were on vacation and took the XS1100 with us. We together put several hundred miles on it last week without a problem. So if I seemed a little upset about not being invited to a XS1100 ride Saturday, well?

I'll send you some pics of your bike that my wife took if I can find them later.

That's just it... You WERE invited - along with the entire forum! Don't you check the rallies section of the forum? There are rallies all over the country that you could head to. All you have to do is say, "I'll be there" to any of them.

                  Hi psyco.

Look in the In Memoriam Forum.
In the Bob Jones (RIP), I think the fourth picture is Street Sleeper, next to Limie Accent.
                  Hope I'm right.
Enjoy all of them, they were sure a sight to see.
I was looking forward to attend the gathering, but family things came into play.
Hopefully there will be another next year.
                  79 XS1100F.
                  SuperTrapp 4-1 w/center stand.
                  TC's fuse box.
                  SOFA filter.
                  Venture cam chain adjuster.

Nice bike, interesting front fender he put on all those...

Montreux_Blue, if you ever take the carbs apart I would be very interested in knowing what jets you have. Does it have a K&N with the stock air box? Watch the hard right handers with that header, they are a little low on that side...

I was told that it has all stock jets in the carbs (137.5, 45.0, 40, 140, 180) with stock air box and not sure about the air filter, haven't looked yet. And I'm pretty sure the front fender is a Maier like this one. http://www.maier-mfg.com/catalog/ear...rbike-ii-front There was a few of these at Karla's place, Bob Jones' widow, that you could have bought this past weekend...

                        Jeremy

I never had much use for any of Bob Jones custom bikes........................except ONE.

                        You got it!

The lime green accents had my eye from day one. I suppose it's those superior Kawasaki colors I'm a sucka for!

                        Enjoy

I guess what I'm trying to say Jeremy is that because of your bike the Limie Accent, riding it I was so impressed with it that I drove 22 hours to Wisconsin and back to get a basket case and restore it. So your bike is special to me also.

Just be careful as David Jones, Bob's son went into a high speed wobble at over 140mph and came out of it. I think it was the TNT or Yellow Jacket. Not sure if it was a Maire fairing or what but just be careful. Your bike when it runs right has so much throttle response it made a forever lasting impression on me. Worked on the XS1100 since 1981 and never wanted one until after tuning and riding yours. I've ridden hundreds of different ones after service work over the years and it took me this many years to realize how special these bikes are.

FYI, I remember in 1981 finding broken pickup wires on XS1100 bikes just over 2 years old.

                            Be safe

Stock pilot jet in 79 was 42.5 not 45.0... I'd be interested to know for sure what it has and if the needles are in the middle position... As soon as I get the chance Im going to put 45 pilot jets in mine to see if it clears up a small stumble at 3200 RPM, and increases the low end power which it lacks currently. I have no complaints above 3500 RPM other than its hard to keep under 65 mph.
