  • What a find wwwwooohhhooo

okay my buddy was looking for a place to put a lighter port on his 200x xxxx WTF ever and asked me for suggestions. I gave mine and thought "Geez on the Vetter fairing there is an opening on the left side for a" but geez i hafta wire it and...
Then i noticed a hole in the lining of the left side of the snap in pocket of the fairing and asked the BH (best half) if she would sew it if I took it off, sooooooooo I took it off but I got the... my sewing machine is so buried that ...... so there is this hole in the left side that looks like 12 v lighter port and i could put on there.
As I took off the pocket and got the flaslight to look down there I found an extra bulb and a "PREWIRED 12v LIGHTER SOCKET" WWWOOOHHHOOOO plugged in my Garmin Nuvie W and its worked.
I will give my friend SHI.....T

Yep, got one in the left side pocket of my Vetter too. I plug my Magellan in there and stick the suction cup on the inside of the windshield there. I also have a lanyard type thing attached to the mount that I fasten to the pocket as well, just in case the suction cup comes loose it will stay in place. That said, I did 133 miles two weekends ago and didn't have a bit of looseness, for that matter I had to work a little to get it to let go when I went to take it off and take it in the house.
