I love the fact that he included the last two shots to show that there really was just a bike for sale, but for that price I'd want a 10 year lease on the whole package At least one of them might last that long...

First is the “inspiration” in your mind of what a bad to the bone idea you get
of a “super cool motorcicle”
You spend some real bucks on questionable parts
Then spend days which turn into weeks then months on it
A little disillusionment sets in that it may never get done
And finally get it to the point that it can sorta be ridden
You go for a short ride and discover what a POS it turned out to be
So now you try to sell it knowing that even if it had a hardly motor it wouldn’t be worth squat
So you hype it up, posed with what you think is a hottie on it and it’s on craigslist
Crossed fingers hoping that WC Fields knew what he was talking about when he said:
“There’s one born every day”
Of course, maybe he’s only the author of an add and WC was right and he was a sucker enough to buy it for an unholy sum and just hopes that he’s not the only one out there

BTW, actually had a “Harley dude” tell me he wanted to buy my Merriam SF.
I told him I had another, same model and year that I’d let him have at a real reasonable price. He says NO I want that one. I says OK, $10,000.00…
I did offer him a chance to own it for free. A race from the Derby to the Florence for pinks… he walked away
I'm just thinking red-neck HD wanna be who already has the proper IQ, but not the proper bike......
The flat black is nice in that it will hide almost anything in a photo.
