    Hey gang...

As of 10:07 a.m. Central time this morning, 5/25/10, I became a new grandpa for the 5th time again!

Allow me to introduce my new grandson, Christian Erick Embrey!
He weighed in @ 7#, 7 oz. and was 19 1/2 inches long.

Everything went perfectly, mom is doing fine, and so far the boy is as 'laid back' and well behaved as you could ever hope for!

Just wanted to share the news w/ my extended family here, and share a few pics as well.

Now, I get to spend the rest of the evening w/ my daughter who's graduating high school tonight @ 7:00 pm!

Talk about your whirlwind days! Wow....

I may be biased... (not sure... probably am...) but Grandpa thinks he's a pretty good lookin' boy... hehehe
    anyway... here's a few pics.

    The Stats...

    It's almost time...

    Dr. Dad's ready...

    Meet Christian Erick!

    Grandma Karen & Christian Erick

    Bob, Steven, & Christian Erick

    The happy Family...

Me & my new pride & joy...

Ohhh... & by the way... Christian Erick will be welcomed home by his 3 older brothers... Isaac (7) Hayden (5) & Ethan (2).

    What a great day!!!
    Regards,
    Bob

Funny you should say that! Truth is, they had planned to stop after Ethan... he was born 3 mos. preemee... weighed 1 lb 1 oz @ birth! I held him in the palm of my hand. We darn near lost him in the beginning! She developed a tear in the umbilical cord... and they had to take him quickly to save him. He's a fighter, though! He spent 5 months in NIC unit before gaining enough to finally come home. He turned 2 last Feb. He was born on Leap Year.
After all that, they thought they were through, she decided to have a tummy tuck... they went on a cruise to celebrate her great new look... I warned him... and the rest is history, as they say... LOL

But this time, she had a perfect pregnancy... felt great, and everything turned out great. But... she made sure to sign the order to have the ole tubes tied... triple knotted was her exact request! HeHe...
Truth was, they were afraid early on it might wind up being a girl this time! That woulda been rough... they have all the boy stuff they could ever need... only 2 bedrooms for kids in their 3 BR house they bought 3 years ago... coulda been difficult otherwise! So, 4 boys works out well.

Hey... that's the great thing about being Grandpa... you get to play w/ 'em... love 'em... spoil 'em rotten, teach 'em cool stuff... like gardening, fishing, hunting, and workin' on/ ridin' motorcycles.... give 'em candy & ice cream.... then send 'em home to Mom & Dad! WooHoo!
After raising 3 kids and being stuck w/ em 7/24... I like that deal! The wheel does turn full circle sometimes! And revenge against all the crap those kids pulled when they were little sure is sweet! LOL

And Jeremy.... Thanks a lot! Nice to know I don't look or act my age! That's cool!

Kat, Ozz, DGXSER... Thanks so much! Appreciate it a lot!

And, for the record DGXSER, I just now got back from my daughter's graduation. IT'S OFFICIAL!!!! WOOHOO!!! Party time!

                  Thanks again, guys.
